Who writes it
Profiled is built and run by one person, Martin Aranovitch. Every blog post and help page on this site is published under his name because he is the person responsible for what it says.
How AI is used
I draft articles with AI. Research and first drafts are produced using a custom-designed content platform I developed from 20+ years of experience as a content writer, editor, and publisher (see my profile). The brief for each piece, the outline, and the point of view are mine. The AI writes a draft to my handcrafted brief; it does not choose the topics or decide what Profiled stands for.
What happens before anything is published
Every draft goes through automated checks before I read it: spelling and house style, readability, voice, citations (each linked source is fetched and the sentence that cites it is compared with what the page actually says), statements about Profiled itself (checked against the product), and a review of legal, medical, and financial claims. A draft that fails a blocking check cannot move forward until it is fixed or until I have looked at the finding myself.
I then read the whole piece, edit it, and approve it. Nothing is published that I haven’t reviewed and approved.
What the line at the bottom of a page means
Each article and help page ends with the same short line: “Spot an error? Let us know · How we create our content.” “Let us know” takes you to the support page, so you can tell me about anything that is wrong or out of date. “How we create our content” brings you back to this page. Help pages also show the date they were last checked against the product.
Images and screenshots
Featured images are generated with AI from a brief and a style guide I approved. Screenshots of Profiled are real captures of the product, taken automatically and checked before they are used.
Social posts
Posts on LinkedIn and X are adapted from articles that have already been through the process above, and I post them myself.
Mistakes
If something on this site is wrong, tell me at profiledcareers.com/support. I will correct the page and update its date.
