Around 30–45 minutes of focused work for a first publishable profile, and you can split that across sittings because the builder saves as you go. Publishing opens once four content checks pass and your quality score reaches 50%. The Publishing checklist at the top of the builder shows each one with a tick or a cross and a specific note on what is missing.
Detail
The five conditions are:
| Check | Passes when |
|---|---|
| Experience depth | At least 1 role with 2 or more private-context fields |
| Skills breadth | At least 3 Strong skills and at least 1 Gap skill |
| Professional narrative | Elevator pitch of at least 100 characters |
| Acknowledged gaps | At least 1 gap or weakness entry |
| Minimum score | Quality score of 50% or above |
The two that most often hold people up are the gap skill and the elevator pitch. Profiled requires at least one acknowledged gap on purpose — a profile with no admitted weaknesses reads as either inexperienced or curated, and the AI cannot speak honestly about gaps it was never given.
On the score band. 50% is the floor, not the target. Between 50 and 75 you will see an amber note warning that the profile may not sustain deep AI questioning; publishing is still allowed. Above 75 the dashboard reads that your profile has real depth. Above 75 is the band worth aiming for.
Nothing publishes by itself. When the checklist is green you click Publish profile, and an inline banner confirms your profile is live with a link to view it. Publishing also lists you in the recruiter directory and sends you an email with your public link.
You can unpublish at any time with one button. That returns the profile to Draft and removes it from the directory — nothing is deleted.
