Your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted. Your profile stays published, everything you wrote stays exactly where it is, and the Pro-only features simply stop being available until you upgrade again.

What "moving to Free" means in practice: the Free visitor caps apply from then on (the monthly chat allowance and the rolling fit-assessment allowance — current numbers on the limits page), voice and Candidate Insights step back behind the upgrade prompt, and applying to opportunities becomes browse-only. Your public page, URL, recruiter messages and data are untouched.
Complimentary Pro (a Pro period included with your invitation) runs for the length stated in your invitation email — there is no single default, so the email is the authoritative place to check. Settings shows your current entitlement with its "active until" date while it runs. There is no separate warning email before it lapses, so that date is worth noting.
Reward-grant Pro (months claimed through Refer & Earn) ends when the claimed period runs out. Anything still in your reward bank stays banked — the months are not lost, and you can make another claim once the current period has ended. One claimed period runs at a time.
A Gift Pro trial (14 days of Pro that a Pro member sent you) is complimentary Pro under another name. It starts when you create your account with the email address the gift was sent to, shows the same "Complimentary" line and banner described below, and ends the same way. No card is asked for, so nothing is charged when it ends.
If you bought a paid subscription in the meantime, the end of a complimentary or reward period changes nothing — the paid subscription simply carries on as your entitlement.
The move to Free is not a penalty state and nothing about it is permanent: upgrading again, or claiming more banked months, restores Pro immediately.
Where to see the end date
Settings shows it on the "Current plan" card: the source in bold ("Complimentary" or "Reward grant"), "active until" and the date, and a countdown such as "Expires in 42 days". Settings: your plan and subscription describes the card.
The Dashboard shows an amber "Complimentary Pro" banner with the same date while you have complimentary Pro, including a Gift Pro trial. Reward-grant Pro has no banner, so check Settings. Dashboard: completeness, build paths, recruiter messages and banners describes the banner.
What changes when the date passes
The change applies as soon as the end date passes. You do not need to do anything, and nothing you wrote is deleted.
