Your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted. Your profile stays published, everything you wrote stays exactly where it is, and the Pro-only features simply stop being available until you upgrade again.

What "moving to Free" means in practice: the Free visitor caps apply from then on (20 chat messages per calendar month, 10 fit assessments per rolling 30 days), voice and Candidate Insights step back behind the upgrade prompt, and applying to opportunities becomes browse-only. Your public page, URL, recruiter messages and data are untouched.
Complimentary Pro (a Pro period included with your invitation) runs for the length stated in your invitation email — there is no single default, so the email is the authoritative place to check. Settings shows your current entitlement with its "active until" date while it runs. There is no separate warning before it lapses, so that date is worth noting.
Reward-grant Pro (months claimed through Refer & Earn) ends when the claimed period runs out. Anything still in your reward bank stays banked — the months are not lost, and you can make another claim once the current period has ended. One claimed period runs at a time.
If you bought a paid subscription in the meantime, the end of a complimentary or reward period changes nothing — the paid subscription simply carries on as your entitlement.
The move to Free is not a penalty state and nothing about it is permanent: upgrading again, or claiming more banked months, restores Pro immediately.
