How Profiled works
- Build your profile. Import a résumé or profile document, or start from scratch, then work through the nine profile tabs at your own pace. The profile assistant can help you fill them in.
- Publish it. Your profile goes live once it meets the publishing requirements and reaches the minimum quality score. See Why won’t the Publish button enable?
- Share your link. Add your profile URL anywhere you’d share a résumé or LinkedIn profile. See How do I share my profile link?
- Visitors explore it. Visitors can ask your profile’s AI chat questions about your background, and run an Honest Fit Assessment against a job description.
- You see what happened. Every visitor question, and your most recent fit assessments, appear in your AI Activity log, on every tier, including Free.

The Honest Fit Assessment
The Honest Fit Assessment weighs a candidate’s profile against a pasted job description and returns one of three verdicts:
- Strong fit
- Worth a conversation
- Probably not your person
Each verdict includes the relevant strengths and the evidence behind them, gaps ranked by severity, what transfers and what doesn’t, and a recommendation with a confidence score. The assessment is built not to flatter: when the fit is weak, it says so and explains why.

What Profiled does and doesn’t do
Profiled does:
- Give you a public profile that stays live whether or not you’re actively job hunting
- Let visitors question your profile in plain language
- Return an honest fit verdict, including "Probably not your person" when that’s true
- Show you what visitors asked and how the AI answered
Profiled doesn’t:
- Apply to roles on your behalf
- Rank you against other candidates
- Rewrite your résumé to game keyword filters
- Promise interviews, callbacks, or offers (those decisions belong to the people reading your profile)
How is Profiled different from a job board or an ATS?

Public and private information
- Your profile’s AI chat answers only from content you’ve made public. It never sees fields you’ve marked private.
- Private fields are never shown to visitors or recruiters.
- Your private context is used by the Honest Fit Assessment. The profile assistant also reads it while helping you write it, and shows it only to you.

Free and Pro
Free is not a trial. It gives you a complete profile and a full Honest Fit Assessment, with a monthly allowance of visitor chat messages and a rolling allowance of fit assessments. Pro removes both caps and adds voice practice interviews, the profile assistant’s full interview, and applying to listed opportunities.
