This was a known display issue and it is fixed — the Basics form now refreshes itself when your profile updates. Your data was never missing; the form was showing a stale view of it. If you ever see it on a page that has been open a long time, reload and the values appear.
Detail
What was happening. After an import applied, the Basics tab could keep rendering the state it had loaded when you first opened it — so freshly imported name, title and location looked absent. The information had been written correctly; only the display was behind.
What changed. The Basics form now remounts when your profile’s last-updated timestamp changes, so an import’s results appear without any action from you.
If you see it anyway. The one remaining case is a browser tab that has been sitting open across the import. Reload the page. Nothing is lost, and nothing needs re-importing — a second import would create duplicate roles and skills rather than fixing anything.
⚠ Do not re-import to "make it show up." A repeat import appends rather than updates, and it can overwrite your name, title, location and social links if the Basic Profile section is left ticked in the review screen.
Checking what actually imported. Open the Experience and Skills tabs. If the roles and skills are there, the import worked and any blank you are seeing in Basics is a display issue rather than a data one.
