Gift Pro is the one referral surface that is Pro-exclusive. As a Pro subscriber you can invite up to five people per quarter to join Profiled, each with a personal message attached. On Free, the Gift Pro page redirects to Refer & Earn — the free path to earning Pro for yourself.

The quarterly allotment: 5 gifts. The counter on the Gift Pro page shows how many you have left and when the next allotment arrives. Unused gifts do not carry over — a new quarter starts a fresh five, and anything unsent from the previous quarter lapses, with no advance warning before the quarter turns.
Sending: up to 5 email addresses at once, with an optional personal message of up to 500 characters — a personal line noticeably improves the odds the invitation is accepted. Each gift invitation is valid for 14 days; after that it lapses, and you can send a fresh one in a later quarter.
Your recipient gets a 14-day Pro trial, no card required. When they create their account using the email address the gift was sent to, the trial starts automatically and runs for 14 days. At the end of the trial they can upgrade to paid Pro or simply continue on Free — nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. A Recent gifts table tracks each invitation: sent, accepted, already a member, superseded, or expired.
If a gift recipient later upgrades to paid Pro, you earn a one-month referral reward through the same reward bank as Refer & Earn. Gifts and ordinary referral invitations are not exclusive — a gifted person who converts credits you either way.
Choosing between a gift and a referral invite: gifts are a warmer introduction with your message attached and are capped at five a quarter; referral invitations are available on every tier and earn you months when the person creates a profile, not only if they upgrade.
