Yes, once your profile is published. A recruiter’s message lands in your dashboard inbox, and you also receive an email showing the recruiter’s name and company.

Contact starts at publish. While your profile is in Draft, there is no public page, no recruiter directory entry, and no way for a recruiter to reach you through Profiled. Publishing is what opens the channel.
Where messages arrive:
- In the product: your dashboard inbox collects recruiter messages, so the conversation record lives in your account.
- By email: each message also triggers an email notification showing the recruiter’s name and company, so you can decide from your inbox whether it is worth opening.
What recruiters saw before writing to you is your public profile — and, if they ran one, a fit assessment grounded in your evidence. That context is the point: contact that arrives through Profiled follows an honest read of your fit rather than a keyword search hit.
You stay in control:
- Unpublishing your profile closes the channel — no new visitors, chats, assessments or messages. Messages already in your inbox stay there.
- The Terms bind how recruiters use assessments: decision support only, no rejecting solely on a fit score, no filtering on protected attributes.
If you stop wanting contact for a while — you have accepted a role, or you are mid-rewrite — unpublishing is reversible and loses nothing.
