How long are voice transcripts kept, and can I delete them?

Twelve months, then they are purged automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time — individually or all at once — from Settings → Data.

Detail

The 12-month window applies to the text transcripts of your voice sessions. The audio itself is never stored on Profiled’s servers, so the transcript is the only voice record retention applies to. When the window closes, the transcript content is purged without you doing anything.

Deleting sooner is self-serve. Open Dashboard → Settings → Data and delete a single session’s transcript or clear all of them. Deletion takes effect immediately and does not require contacting support.

How this fits the wider retention picture:

  • Voice transcripts — 12 months, deletable any time.
  • Visitor chat content — 12 months after the session.
  • A fit assessment’s submitted job description — 12 months (the verdict itself stays in your analytics until account deletion).
  • Data-export files — 7 days.
  • Billing records — 7 years, as tax law requires.

Deleting your account removes transcripts sooner — they are erased with the rest of your personal data on the account-deletion timeline rather than waiting out the 12 months.

Transcripts are yours to take with you. The self-serve data export includes your voice sessions and transcripts, so deleting them from Profiled does not have to mean losing your own copy — export first if you want one.
