Opportunities — browsing, applying, flagging

Applies to: browsing is open to everyone; applying and flagging are Pro actions · Last updated: 2026-08-18

Opportunities is a hand-curated list of jobs, fellowships and programs, published by the Profiled team. It is deliberately not a scraped job board — listings are curated, and the list is small on purpose.

Browsing (every tier)

Open Opportunities from the sidebar. You can filter by type and category, limit to remote-only, and search across titles, organisations and descriptions. Click any listing to read the full details.

The list is genuinely public — it’s also readable at profiled.careers/opportunities without signing in, so you can share a listing with someone who doesn’t have an account.

Applying (Pro)

Each listing has an apply action that takes you to the organisation’s own application destination. On Free, choosing it shows you the upgrade path instead — browsing and reading listings stays open.

Applying happens on the organisation’s side, not inside Profiled — a strong move is to include your public profile link (profiled.careers/your-name) in the application, so the hiring manager can interrogate your fit directly.

Flagging (Pro)

If a listing looks wrong — expired, misleading, or not what it claims — flag it. Flags go to the team that curates the list. You can flag up to 10 listings a day.

Common questions

  • Why can’t I see Opportunities in my sidebar? It should be there for every account. If it’s missing, sign out and back in first — and if it’s still missing, contact support.
  • Does applying through Profiled do anything special? The apply action is a hand-off to the organisation’s own process. What Profiled adds is your profile: a link a hiring manager can question is stronger than an attachment they can only read.
  • I applied — where do I track it? With the organisation. Profiled doesn’t currently track application status.
